Per my other reviews this is a good place for diner food. Never had a bad meal here and they just added serving rootbeer floats. A must try as they use IBC rootbeer.

Food was fresh. Service was a little slow for the amount of people in there. Ambience was laid back It's been a long time (years) since I was charged a transaction fee on a DEBIT card.

Always worth the wait. They have expanded hours Tuesday-Thursday. Breakfast anytime they are open. Omelets & biscuits are amazing.
Took my sister for a birthday breakfast and it was yummy. This is a gem in Greendale Indiana. It's a diner with delicious food. The staff makes you feel like family. I got 2 eggs over easy with rye toast goetta and hash browns. The hash browns had bacon in it. Genius. My sister got biscuits with sausage gravy. What a great place!
Ladies and gentleman, run don't walk to this out of the way gem. I stopped here for breakfast. I ordered the biggest that they had because, well, I'm a hungry boy! My breakfast included 2 eggs, 2 meat, toast, home fries, a pancake, and two homemade biscuits with homemade jelly. I'm not exaggerating or telling tales, everything on my plate was the best I've ever had. And everything I saw saw going to other tables I wanted! No lie. I wanted all of it. If this place was closer, I wouldn't eat anywhere else. Service is family friendly. Couldn't ask for better. I walked in 10 minutes before posted closing time. No sighs, no dirty looks. I even asked if I was too late. They said I was fine and they seemed to mean it. And it's clean and all 50s diner and stainless steel. It's like out of my culinary dreams. If you are on route 50 near the Ohio Indiana line, don't you dare go anywhere else. You'll Regret it if you do
Stopped on the way back to Indy from the casino and glad we did! I got the chef salad and my husband got the hungry man special with an al a carte pancake and goetta and I got the chef salad. Everything was great, but the pancake was phenomenal! I would come back just for the pancakes! Highly recommend if you're driving by!!
